Recently in the news--two trials conducted in Africa have shown that circumcised men have about a 60% decreased chance of contracting the AIDS virus during sex. Does this mean that you shouldn't date European men, or ask to see the goods before agreeing to have sex? Not exactly. Circumcision is not a substitute for a condom (or your common sense). Even circumcised men contracted HIV in the studies, which involved heterosexual men only, and more studies are being done to confirm these findings. So if your honey insists that his lack of a foreskin gives him a pass on using a condom, set him straight. A condom is still your best defense against HIV, not to mention against the other infections you can contract. Any questions?
