Prostitution, prostitution, everywhere this past week...

  • Craigslist is apparently the website of choice for advertising prostitution--and law enforcement is now logging on to the Internets.
  • A new non-profit, The Nevada Coalition Against Sex Trafficking, aims to educate the public about the ills of prostitution, to encourage the enforcement of existing laws--especially when it comes to arresting men who buy women and kids for sex--and to help women get out of the sex trade.
  • And tangentially, promiscuous guys apparently still use terms like "whore" and "slut" to insult women they don't like (or, more likely, women who don't like them), as evidenced by one Neanderthal on MTV's new season of The Real World. He's taken to task by the fine ladies of Jezebel.
