We heart these T-shirts. And not just because 50 percent of all profits go to the Kelly Rooney foundation, which was established to eradicate breast cancer in young women (Kelly died at age 43 in July 2006 and was the one to coin the phrase "Save 2nd Base" for the shirts). We heart them too because it's kind of hard to be funny in a good way about breast cancer (as anyone who's read Joshua Ferris's excellent novel Then We Came to the End will know). And we heart them for their retro appeal, because we remember the good old days of hooking up when boobs actually were located at second base in the baseball system of hookup lingo.
