![]() Perhaps it should come as no surprise after the recent news that New Zealand's women are the world's most promiscuous, but a new study out of that country says that nearly one in three Kiwi men has felt pressured to have sex or did so unwillingly. New Zealand is also the only country in the world where the men reported a lower average number of sexual partners (16.8) than the ladies (20.4). But it's not just Down Under that men claim they are being ravaged by feral, beer-swilling women. We recently wrote an article for Details magazine about men who have felt pressured into sex, and we discovered that men are increasingly rejecting booty calls in this country, too. Some cited fears of STDs or unwanted pregnancy, but more than a few explained that they just plain don't like the way casual sex makes them feel. And, specifically, they don't like the assumption that their dick is up for grabs. A 20-something PR exec named Tyler Barnett recalls, "One woman was like, You're kidding, right? And then for hours she tried to convince me to have sex." Another woman asked him, What, are you gay or something? "If I acted that way," he says, "that would make me a monster." Turns out when the tables are turned and we're the ones facing sexual rejection, we don't always handle things too gracefully. News flash: Men have feelings, too! 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

I will say that it is quite a surprise to hear that a guy doesn't want to have sex, it goes against almost every stereotype.
