Omigod omigod the Hello Kitty sex toy is back! Well, kind of. It's back in Japan, anyway, though the Hello Kitty executives continue to insist that it's actually a shoulder massager. Riiiight. If you're not sure what the fuss is all about, here's the back story: A decade ago, a toy company called Genyo licensed the Hello Kitty brand to make a line of toys, one of which was a Hello Kitty vibrating shoulder massager. Of course, it didn't take long for people to figure out that the, ahem, shoulder massager could be used elsewhere.

A few years later, the Hello Kitty (or Kitty-chan, as they say in Japan) "vibrator" became a regular fixture in Japanese adult videos. By 1999, the toy was for sale in vending machines in "love hotels" across the country (you know, the same vending machines that stock teen girls' soiled undies). Needless to say, Hello Kitty's peeps were pissed off, and a lengthy legal battle ensued, which finally ended only because Genyo was busted on tax fraud and the Hello Kitty team was able to swoop in and break the massager molds. Bye-bye, Kitty! Until now, that is. Apparently those shoulder massagers were just too much of a cash cow to ignore--yep, lot of achy shoulders out there--and so the company has decided to reissue the license, though sales are only planned for Japan for now. We guess Paris Hilton can probably have one flown in. As for the rest of us? Well, it all depends on how comfortable you are bidding for a vibrator on eBay...

Type the characters you see in the picture above.

After a break-up, do everything you can to avoid rose-colored hindsight. This may include playing that montage of fond memories over and over in the theater of your mind with the Dolby surround-sound system playing Muse or Maroon 5 on repeat. No good can come of this; you'll simply end up feeling more inadequate, lonely, and depressed. Instead, focus on your ex's faults. There must be at least one (besides their ability to live without you), even if it's just a malformed pinkie toe or a tendency to douse every meal in ketchup.
