I was going into a Ne Haven public high school to teach sex education with a community service group and I still had a huge hickey on my neck. A student called me out on it and I was incredibly embarrassed. They're hot to push someone off in avoidance of getting a new one. It stinks to have on the neck and be burdened with coming up with really clever ways to cover it up, but if you have a hickey on the chest it's like a kinky badge of courage that makes you weak in the knees in remembrance every time you catch a glimpse of it.

I love bite marks, both giving and getting, and wear them proudly.

'Course, I also like a good flogging and caning, so I might not be representative of normalcy. ;)

To followup, my playmates and I usually have some rules about leaving marks in visible places. My wife firmly wants them where they are hidden at work. My girlfriend and I love having them anywhere, and tend to be very proud of them. My other playmates, well, it varies, but we tend to negotiate that before leaving marks. ^.^

Anyway, a hicky's just the byproduct of the act-- I like sucking on someone's neck...my gf's a redhead so she bruises easily, she's also a doctor so she has to look....ahh....clinically clean. I try, but, I know for a fact she rather deal w/ a hicky than not be nibbled on.

I think the idea behind the interview was to show answers to the question from real people of all demographics. I would prefer this 10 times over before a staged interview with people who aren't as real.

I love being nibbled on. I'm a red head though so I tend to bruise easy. My partner LOVES nibbling on me and each little bite mark lets me know that he thinks I'm delicious. I love nibbling on him though as well. The pain pleasure that each bite causes just adds to the wonderful sexual tension even before penitration.

I have no problem wearing my lovers marks and refuse to be ashamed of it. I've heard a lot of people say its gaudy and tasteless but honetly I don't care he's got marks of his own =). Different strokes for different folks.
