Hello Em & Lo, I was wondering if you could help me with something. My wife, and I, are greatly amused by Alice in Wonderland, the first Pornographic Musical. Have there been any other porn musicals, both new and old? My searches have come up empty and it would be great to add more to our party nights. Thanks for any help you can give. Without wax, Conrad Dear Conrad, Honestly, we're not huge fans of either musicals or pornos. In our opinion, both are usually unrealistic and cheesy. So we wonder if that would mean porno musicals are doubly bad. We don't know--we haven't seen any of the following. But we imagine the cooky '70s stuff might be kind of fun to have playing in the background at the kind of party where one might stick their sexual appendages in the mashed potatoes. Here's a start, beginning with the film with by far the best cover art: Cinderella 2000: Sci-Fi Softcore Video Podcast has clips from what they call "a mix between Alice in Wonderland and Barbarella." Misty Beethoven, The Musical: A 2004 female-directed remake of the 1970s "classic". You can sample and buy the soundtrack on Amazon. The Wayward Cloud: One article called this "the first Asian porn musical." Oh! Calcutta!: The movie version of the Broadway hit. It turns out the best place to find adult-themed musicals is not on DVD but in the theater, which won't help you much. Still, if you're interested, you can check out The Story of the Adult Musicals of the '70s for a pretty comprehensive history. For more recent, satirical and tame fair, there was Debbie Does Dallas, The Musical and the current Broadway hit Avenue Q's with the song "The Internet Is For Porn." And then there's this weird artifact featuring Cream of Wheat, oral sex, music and some bad dancing. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

In one sense, revenge sex—when you sleep with your ex's nemesis, roommate, sibling, parent, or pet in order to pay them back for dumping you--totally works: how could your ex not be grossed out / horrified / disillusioned / damaged for life? But unless your ex is a few peas short of a casserole, your cunning plan is sure to backfire, because they'll know exactly why you slept with their paste-eating dork of a sibling, and the most overwhelming emotion they will feel is deep, abiding pity for you.

There was a musical made from Fanny Hill. I was involved, indirectly, because my grandfather was the man who banned the book in NYC long ago when the world was young.
From porn to Broadway; only in America.
