Short version: there are serious problems with the evo-psych approach in general, as well as pretty huge problems with the specific recent studies that people have been citing as "proof" that women enjoy being treated like crap.

The Mylie Cyrus thing could be really interesting if it was done tastefully and in a really clever way. But it won't be.
