![]() Photo via Online Athens After a seven-year, multiple-lawsuit war between the Lavonia City Council in South Carolina and Lavonia's "World Famous Cafe Risque," home of "Topless Topless Exit Now," the Council finally became victorious, unanimously voting last week to purchase the club's location at I-85's Exit 173 for the whopping price of almost one million dollars. Figleaf's Real Adult Sex questions whether this really is a victory. (Though if we support a quaint town's right to refuse a McDonald's, then why shouldn't a conservative town keep a boobie bar out?) We just got a kick out of the sign in the photo accompanying the Online Athens article on the matter, which we assume is from an earlier battle. |
