![]() First there was the "Things to Say During Sex" flow chart, and now there's the Great Big Chart of Fetishes, which categorizes pretty much all the fetishes we've ever heard of--and plenty more we never knew existed (unbirthing or bird neck wringing, anyone?). We wonder if it means we've been in the sex biz too long when we look at a chart like this and think that "pony play" sounds run-of-the-mill, while "piggy play" and "cow play" are totally, like, out there. No judgments, of course, we've just never heard of the latter two. But who says it's any kinkier to moo than to neigh? The chart includes categories, sub-categories, thematic groupings, and--our favorite--"strong established links." For example, while it makes sense that balloon fetishists are connected to rubber gear wearers, who knew that furverts and erotic eaters are frequent traveling companions? By the way, if you're wondering which fetishes are most popular with the ladies, here's a sampling: sneeze fetish (which falls under the larger category of expectoration fetishes, natch), medical bondage (like casts, braces, and bandages...hello doctor!); tickling; spanking; Santa suits (that one's in the age play category); and demonic sex, whatever the hell (heh) that might be--we're guessing it's a little more complicated than just having sex with a crazy-eyed ex. Finally, if you've always wanted to get your kink on but thought it all sounded a little too uncomfortable for your liking (what with all those corsets and rubber trench coats), then take another look at the chart: "fuzzy slippers" are in the shoe fetish category, right up there with army boots, high heels, and clogs (seriously). See? Fetishists like to snuggle, too. |
