NYC is all-a-flutter right now because--omigod, omigod!--they're currently filming the new Sex & the City movie on location. Everyone's trying to figure out what SJP is wearing, if Mr. Big is still in the picture, does Charlotte have a bump, can Samantha handle monogamy...but the news we were all aflutter about is that Charlotte's well-loved Rabbit may be replaced in the movie by some super-high-end toys from Myla London. It was only a matter of time: after all, blinged-out toys from companies like Myla are the Manolos of the sex toy world. Some of Myla's new releases even have waiting lists, just like Fendi clutches, and Kate Moss and Sienna Miller are rumored to do their self-love shopping here. Apparently celebrities think that masturbation isn't wrong if you spend thousands of dollars to do it.

While we're all for investing in your sex life (no "novelty" items from China, please), we have to say we're a little sad to see the Rabbit go--it's a high-quality, Japanese-made performance product. Isn't there room for both a Rabbit and a Myla in Charlotte's drawer? Maybe the S&TC producers felt it was a breach of contract when the Rabbit got top billing in another movie [link to "Rabbit Fever" post in the backlog].
